Indicators

Key Trade and Tariff Indicators

This section provides essential trade and tariff indicators, including MFN simple averages, trade-weighted averages, imports by origin, and exports by destination and other indicators.

Data, available from 1996, is organized by product groups, covering all products, agricultural and non-agricultural products, as well as selected analytical groups for more detailed analysis.

Integrated Database (IDB)

Tariff and import notifications

This section provides access to detailed data on tariffs and imports, organized by year and economy.

It includes applied and preferential tariff rates, as well as import statistics at the most granular tariff line level (e.g., HS codes with 8, 9, or 10 digits, as used by customs authorities).

The data, notified by WTO Members, is available from 1996 onward.

Consolidated Tariff Schedules (CTS)

Bound Tariffs and Other Commitments

This section provides access to WTO Members' tariff commitments at the tariff line level (HS-8 digits or more), including base and final bound MFN tariffs, other duties and charges, special safeguards for agricultural products, and initial negotiating rights.

It also includes information on agricultural commitments, such as domestic support (AMS) and tariff quotas linked to tariff line concessions.

Please note that this database serves as a working tool and does not have legal status.

Analytical Database (ADB)

Comprehensive tariff and trade data

This section provides access to the raw data from the Analytical Database (ADB), which serves as the basis for TTD reports.

The data includes applied tariffs, preferential tariffs, and trade statistics (imports, exports, total, and bilateral) by partner at the HS 6-digit level, dating back to 1996. The ADB compiles data from WTO and external sources, such as UN Comtrade, the International Trade Centre (ITC), and Trade Data Monitor.

Priority is given to WTO's Integrated Database (IDB), with external sources filling gaps in tariff and import data where needed.
