WTO – IMF Tariff Tracker

A joint transparency initiative developed by the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to monitor and visualize changes in effectively applied import duties, drawing on data from the WTO's Integrated Database and Analytical Database.

The latest data release includes data for a broader set of reporting economies. Minor changes in the data may be observed, as the import weights for trade-weighted tariff averages are now sourced at the national tariff-line level (HS8-digit or more, when available) rather than HS6-digit, alongside further refinements to certain underlying data assumptions.
Datasets can be downloaded, the general Terms of Use apply.

For full details on the data and methodology, see: World Trade Organization and International Monetary Fund, "Methodology Note for the WTO-IMF Tariff Tracker", 2026.
